# UpdateResourceGroupCommandRequestInput

> Changes a resource group. Only the properties that are sent change. The resource category is changed by ChangeResourceGroupCategory. Errors: the request is invalid; RESOURCE_GROUP_NOT_FOUND (the resource group was not found). - Request

## Fields

**`resourceGroupId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the resource group to change.

**`name`**: `String`

The new name of the resource group.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
