# UpdateResourceTypeCommandRequestInput

> Changes a resource type. Only the properties that are sent change. The category cannot be changed. Errors: the request is invalid; RESOURCE_TYPE_NOT_FOUND (the resource type was not found). - Request

## Fields

**`resourceTypeId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the resource type to change.

**`name`**: `String`

The new name of the resource type.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
