# UpdateSalesOrderCustomFieldValueCommandRequestInput

> Sets the value of a custom field of a sales order and replaces the value that was there. - Request



**Kind**: `input`

## Fields

**`salesOrderId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the sales order. Fails with a GraphQL error whose extensions.code is SalesOrderNotFound, SalesOrderIsPending or SalesOrderReadOnly.

**`customFieldId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the custom field. Fails with CustomFieldNotFound, or CustomFieldNotForSalesOrders when it is not a field for sales orders.

**`value`**: `SalesOrderFieldValueInput!` (required)

The value. Its type has to match the data type of the field, else SalesOrderCustomFieldValueTypeMismatch.

**`disableAutomaticWorkflows`**: `Boolean`

Suppresses the automatic workflow triggers of this call. Defaults to false when omitted.
