# UpdateSalesOrderDiscountLineItemCommandRequestInput

> Updates a discount line item of a sales order; only the fields that are sent change. - Request

## Fields

**`salesOrderId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the sales order. Fails with a GraphQL error whose extensions.code is SalesOrderNotFound, SalesOrderIsPending or SalesOrderReadOnly.

**`salesOrderLineItemId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of a discount line item. Fails with a GraphQL error whose extensions.code is SalesOrderLineItemNotFound or SalesOrderLineItemTypeMismatch.

**`update`**: `SalesOrderDiscountLineItemUpdateInput!` (required)

The update. Invoiced line items keep their amount.

**`disableAutomaticWorkflows`**: `Boolean`

Suppresses the automatic workflow triggers of this call. Defaults to false when omitted.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
