# UpdateTaxCodeCommandRequestInput

> Changes a tax code. Fields that are omitted stay as they are. The number cannot change while rates, overrides or documents use the tax code. - Request

## Fields

**`taxCodeId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the tax code.

**`number`**: `Int`

The new number, unique, from 1.

---

**`name`**: `String`

The new name, 1 to 255 characters, unique.

---

**`taxAccount`**: `String`

The new general ledger account for the tax, at most 10 characters; null removes it.

---

**`cashDiscountAccount`**: `String`

The new account for cash discounts, at most 10 characters; null removes it.

---

**`revenueAccount`**: `String`

The new revenue account, at most 10 characters; null removes it.

---

**`bonusAccount`**: `String`

The new account for bonuses, at most 10 characters; null removes it.

---

**`writeOffAccount`**: `String`

The new account for write-offs, at most 10 characters; null removes it.

---

**`downPaymentAccount`**: `String`

The new account for down payments, at most 10 characters; null removes it.

---

**`isAutomaticAccount`**: `Boolean`

Whether the accounts are automatic accounts in accounting.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
