# UpdateTransactionStatusCommandRequestInput

> Changes the name or the kinds of sales documents of a transaction status. A list that is sent replaces the existing one. Errors: TRANSACTION_STATUS_NOT_FOUND (404); TRANSACTION_STATUS_NAME_EMPTY, TRANSACTION_STATUS_NAME_TOO_LONG, TRANSACTION_STATUS_VALID_FOR_DUPLICATED (400); TRANSACTION_STATUS_NAME_ALREADY_EXISTS (409). GraphQL only. - Request

## Fields

**`transactionStatusId`**: `ID!` (required)

The ID of the transaction status.

**`name`**: `String`

The new name, 1 to 255 characters. It must be unique among the transaction statuses, ignoring letter case.

**`validFor`**: `[String]`

The kinds of sales documents the status can be chosen for. A list that is sent replaces the existing one; an empty list means none. Known keys: 'SALES_QUOTATION', 'SALES_ORDER', 'SUBSCRIPTION'. New keys can be added; pass back the keys you read, handle an unknown key as not known, never as a failure.

**`idempotencyKey`**: `String`

Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
