# WarehouseType

> The type of a warehouse. The types exclude each other and a warehouse keeps its type for its whole life. Whether a warehouse has a storage location structure, a fulfillment partner or a source and target warehouse is not a trait that can be combined: it is the type. New types are added over time, so a consumer has to tolerate values it does not know and treat such a warehouse through the properties every warehouse has.

**Kind**: `enum`

## Values

**`STANDARD`** — A warehouse without storage location management, the plain case. It has one implicit storage location that is not visible in this API.

**`EXTERNAL_FULFILLMENT`** — A warehouse run by an external fulfillment partner. Orders are sent to the partner as fulfillment orders and delivery notes.

**`WMS`** — A warehouse with storage location management for the warehouse management system. It has storage locations and a location layout.

**`AMAZON_FBA`** — The stock Amazon holds for the seller (Fulfillment by Amazon). It is created and kept by the Amazon integration, not by this API.

**`DROP_SHIPPING`** — A warehouse that stands for the route from a source warehouse to a target warehouse, for example a supplier that ships to the customer. It holds no own storage structure.

**`FULFILLMENT_NETWORK`** — A warehouse of the JTL-Fulfillment Network. It is created and kept by the fulfillment network, not by this API.

**`AMAZON_FBA_PENDING`** — The stock Amazon has reserved internally for a Fulfillment by Amazon warehouse (not yet available). It is created and kept by the Amazon integration, not by this API.
