Makes an existing item a combination of the variation parent. The item can be of any kind except a variation parent: a bill of materials can be a combination, a variation parent cannot (variation parents do not nest). It must not be a combination of another parent already. From then on the item has the categories of the parent, as every combination has: the categories it had before are replaced by those of the parent, and its own requirement of a category lapses. - Request
