UpdateCharacteristicCommandRequestInput
Changes the options and the display type of a characteristic. Only the properties that are sent change. Names have ‘PutCharacteristicName’ and ‘DeleteCharacteristicName’, groups ‘AddCharacteristicToGroup’ and ‘RemoveCharacteristicFromGroup’, the order ‘SetCharacteristicOrder’ and ‘ResetCharacteristicOrder’. Changing ‘isVisibleInShop’ or ‘isEbayAttribute’ has consequences in the sales channels: the characteristic is sent to the online shops or withdrawn from them, and eBay listings take it over or drop it. Errors: CHARACTERISTIC_NOT_FOUND (no characteristic has this ID); CHARACTERISTIC_DISPLAY_TYPE_INVALID (the display type is not one of the known values). - Request
UpdateCharacteristicCommandRequestInputFields
The ID of the characteristic to change.
How the values are presented to customers in the online shop: TEXT, SELECT_BOX, IMAGE or IMAGE_AND_TEXT. Omitted leaves it as it is. Any other value is refused (error code CHARACTERISTIC_DISPLAY_TYPE_INVALID).
Allows or forbids several values per item.
Shows or hides the characteristic in the online shop. Hiding it removes it from the shops that received it.
Transfers the characteristic to eBay as an item specific or stops that.
Client-supplied idempotency key. When provided, a repeated request with the same key and payload replays the original result instead of re-executing the mutation.
