ConvertToVariationParentItemCommandRequestInput
Makes an item the parent of a variation combination, or, when it already is of this kind, replaces the values that belong to the kind. A regular item. Every other kind has to be turned back into a regular item first by ‘PUT items//regular’. The request carries exactly the fields the kind has as mandatory or optional; nothing is carried over implicitly from the old kind, and the common fields of the item stay as they are. The fields of the kind that are not sent stay empty or take their default. - Request

The variation axes with their values, added after the selection variations of the item, which become the first axes with their values (the same data). At least one axis in total: the list may be empty when the item has a selection variation. The free-text variations stay with the parent.
The combinations. At least one: a variation parent without a combination cannot be sold. The item itself keeps its categories (it needs one); an existing item that becomes a combination gets those of the parent.
