ConvertToRegularItemCommandResponse
Turns an item back into a regular item, whatever its kind is. Idempotent: an item that is a regular item already stays as it is. The item itself stays; it only loses what makes it a kind, and everything that kind carried (components, axes, voucher settings, stock settings) is removed and cannot be restored by converting again. Every trait that applies to the item is removed, not only the kind (see ‘traits’), so nothing is lost silently. A change with consequences is refused with 409, an error code and all blockers: an item that still has stock is refused unless ‘writeOffExistingStock’ is set (ITEM_HAS_STOCK), and so are kits used in documents, variation parents with combinations or vouchers that were issued. A variation parent that still has combinations is refused (VARIATION_HAS_COMBINATIONS): remove its combinations first, one call each with ‘RemoveVariationCombination’. Turning back an item that is itself a combination keeps it a combination with the categories of its parent. - Response
